Itinerary and Activities

What can you expect at Kokum Calls You?

Explore, create, and respond

Kokum Calls You invites you to learn through research, art, stories, play, and hands-on activities. Explore a research gallery walk featuring Werklund work and a contribution from Veterinary Medicine, discover Books to Build On, and view displays such as Adrian Huysman’s artwork illustrating the Jasper Mountain Métis.

Visit Grandmother’s Lodge’s display of students’ land acknowledgements and Michif Storywork’s digital storytelling poster and Spin-the-Wheel activity. Add your own response to the Elders’ Calls, and spend time at the Kids’ Corner (kids of all ages welcome!) with books, colouring, toys, and activities with volunteers spending time teaching kids through play!

Together, these displays offer different ways to listen, reflect, connect, and consider how we can carry our learning beyond September 30.
